Flurbiprofen falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Cannabinol (cbn) interacts with.

Theoretically, cannabinol might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2C9 substrates.
In vitro research shows that cannabinol potently inhibits CYP2C9 enzymes. So far, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist: your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP2C9 to break down flurbiprofen. In lab studies (test tube only, not real people yet), CBN appears to block that enzyme fairly strongly. If that happened in your body, flurbiprofen could clear more slowly and build up, which may mean stronger drug effects and a higher chance of typical NSAID side effects like stomach upset, heartburn, ulcers or bleeding, fluid retention, or kidney strain.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it's theoretical and has never actually been reported in humans, so don't panic. Still, since CBN products vary a lot in quality, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

Flurbiprofen tablets (sold as Flurbiprofen and Lurbiro) are used to relieve the pain, swelling, and stiffness of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Flurbiprofen Sodium eye drops are a separate product used during eye surgery — specifically to keep the pupil from constricting (getting smaller) while the procedure is underway. This use applies only to the ophthalmic (eye drop) form.
