Lofepramine is a tricyclic antidepressant, and while it's less sedating than some older ones in its family, it can still leave you feeling drowsy, foggy, or tired, especially when you first start it. Catnip, usually taken as a calming tea, appears to have mild sedative properties of its own based on lab and animal studies plus some everyday use.

So the concern here is simple: pairing the two could stack their calming effects, leaving you more sleepy or slowed down than you'd expect. This is theoretical and based on weak, anecdotal evidence, so it isn't a major alarm. Still, if you notice extra grogginess or trouble concentrating, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
