Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Acetaminophen, Phenyltoloxamine, Salicylamide
Acetaminophen, Phenyltoloxamine, Salicylamide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Cauliflower interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the honest picture: Lobac combines acetaminophen, phenyltoloxamine (an antihistamine), and salicylamide (a pain reliever in the aspirin family). The concern on file is that cruciferous veggies like cauliflower may gently speed up a liver enzyme called CYP1A2, by roughly 14 to 27 percent in some studies. In theory, that could clear certain medicines a bit faster and make them work a little less. But this is weak evidence, and these particular pain and antihistamine ingredients aren't strongly tied to that pathway.
Practically speaking, enjoying cauliflower at the dinner table is very unlikely to change how well your Lobac eases your aches or causes drowsiness. If you're taking concentrated cauliflower supplements, that's worth mentioning to your pharmacist, but normal food amounts shouldn't worry you.
