Vildagliptin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Chirata interacts with.

Theoretically, taking chirata concomitantly with antidiabetes drugs may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In non-fasted animals pretreated with the hypoglycemic drug tolbutamide, taking chirata 250 mg/kg decreased blood glucose levels. Monitor blood glucose levels closely.

Here's the gist: Vildagliptin (Galvus) already works to lower your blood sugar, and Chirata may nudge blood sugar down a bit too. Put them together and the two effects could add up, so your sugar might dip lower than you'd want. Signs of a low include shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, confusion, or feeling unusually hungry.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it's mostly theoretical, based on an animal study with a different diabetes medicine, not human data. So it's a reason to be aware, not alarmed. Everyday culinary bitters are unlikely to matter much, but concentrated Chirata supplements are a different story. If you take both, check your blood sugar more often and chat with your pharmacist or doctor first.
