Glipizide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Chirata interacts with.

Theoretically, taking chirata concomitantly with antidiabetes drugs may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In non-fasted animals pretreated with the hypoglycemic drug tolbutamide, taking chirata 250 mg/kg decreased blood glucose levels. Monitor blood glucose levels closely.

Here's the simple version: Glipizide already lowers your blood sugar by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin. Chirata may have its own mild blood sugar lowering effect, so taking the two together could stack up and push your sugar too low. That's called hypoglycemia, and with glipizide it can show up as shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, dizziness, confusion, or feeling suddenly hungry.

I want to be honest about the evidence, though. This comes from animal and lab studies, not people, and a related (not identical) sulfonylurea, so it's more of a theoretical concern than a proven one. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding chirata, and checking your blood sugar a little more closely if you do.
