Insulin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Chirata interacts with.

Theoretically, taking chirata concomitantly with antidiabetes drugs may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In non-fasted animals pretreated with the hypoglycemic drug tolbutamide, taking chirata 250 mg/kg decreased blood glucose levels. Monitor blood glucose levels closely.

Here's the gist: insulin already lowers your blood sugar, and chirata may nudge it down a little further. So if you pair them, the two effects could stack and push you toward low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). That can show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, confusion, or hunger, and at its worst it can be serious.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. The evidence is theoretical, coming from animal lab work, not human studies. That doesn't mean ignore it, just don't panic. If you take insulin and want to try chirata, keep a closer eye on your glucose readings at first, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting so they can guide you safely.
