Why this applies to Estrogen

Estrogen falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Clove interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of clove may increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
In vitro research shows that eugenol, the principal constituent of clove, can inhibit CYP1A2 in a dose-dependent manner,. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with clove and your estrogen. Your body partly clears estrogen using a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. Lab studies suggest eugenol, the main compound in clove, can slow that enzyme down. If it does, estrogen might clear a little slower and build up slightly, which could mean more of its usual effects, things like breast tenderness, bloating, headache, nausea, or mood changes.

Now the important part: this is only test-tube evidence, and it has not been shown in people. The clove in your cooking is very unlikely to matter at all. Concentrated clove oil or capsules used daily are where I'd pay more attention. Before adding a clove supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor so they can check it against your specific estrogen.

Here's the gist for clove and estrogen. Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down estrogen and clear it out. In lab tests, eugenol (the main oil in clove) slowed that enzyme down. If that same thing happened in people, estrogen could build up a bit higher than expected, which in theory might mean more of estrogen's usual effects, things like breast tenderness, bloating, nausea, or headaches.

That said, this is only seen in test tubes and animals so far, not in actual people. Normal cooking with clove is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated clove oil or capsules are the bigger question. If you're using clove regularly while on estrogen, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
