Here's the connection to keep in mind. Anacaulase-bcdb (NexoBrid) is a gel made from enzymes that doctors apply directly onto severe burns to clear away dead tissue. It isn't taken by mouth, but because it works on damaged, raw skin, it can make the treated area more prone to oozing or bleeding.

Cod liver oil, in large amounts (think 20 to 40 mL a day), can thin the blood a little and make platelets less sticky. So in theory, pairing the two could mean a bit more bleeding from the wound. This is mostly a theoretical concern, and normal food or modest supplement doses are unlikely to matter much. Still, since this is used on serious burns, let your care team know you take cod liver oil so they can keep an eye on things.
