Insulin (rDNA) falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Cod Liver Oil interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cod liver oil with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Some clinical research shows that cod liver oil may lower blood glucose levels in women with gestational diabetes who are already taking antidiabetes drugs when used for at least 12 weeks. However, it does not appear to have any effect on blood glucose when used for shorter durations. Until more is known, use caution.

Here's the gist: insulin already does the heavy lifting of lowering your blood sugar, and cod liver oil might nudge it a little lower on top of that. When the two add up, you could be more likely to dip into a low blood sugar, or hypoglycemia. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded.

Honestly, the evidence here is on the gentle side. The clearest signal came from women with gestational diabetes who took it for at least 12 weeks; shorter use didn't seem to budge blood sugar much. I wouldn't lose sleep over an occasional dose, but if you plan to take cod liver oil regularly, let your pharmacist or doctor know so you can watch your numbers and adjust insulin only if they advise it.

What Is Insulin Lispro Injection Used For?

Brand names: Humalog, Humalog Mix 75/25, Humulin R, Humulin N, Humulin L, Humulin 50/50, Humulin 70/30, Humulin U, NovoLog, Velosulin, Novolog Mix 70/30, Actrapid, Humulin S, Insuman Rapid

Insulin lispro injection is used to improve glycemic control (blood sugar management) in people with diabetes mellitus. It is a rapid-acting insulin analog approved for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Admelog is specifically indicated to improve glycemic control in patients with diabetes mellitus. Humalog Mix75/25 is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults with diabetes mellitus; it is a fixed-ratio mixture of insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine, and its fixed proportions do not allow for separate adjustment of basal (background) and prandial (mealtime) doses.
