Anisindione (Miradon) is an oral blood thinner, in the same family as warfarin. It works by slowing your body's ability to form clots, so anything else that nudges bleeding in the same direction matters here. Cod liver oil isn't a clotting drug, but its omega-3 fats (EPA and DHA) can make platelets a little less sticky and lengthen bleeding time, especially at high doses around 20 to 40 mL a day.

Stacked on top of a potent anticoagulant like this, that could mean easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or harder-to-stop bleeding from a cut. The evidence is fairly limited and mostly theoretical, and a small food-style dose is far less concerning than big supplement amounts. Still, since Anisindione is a narrow-margin drug, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting it.
