ORAL DRUGS
Why this applies to Ibrexafungerp Citrate
Ibrexafungerp Citrate falls under ORAL DRUGS — the group Coffee Charcoal interacts with.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the simple version: coffee charcoal acts a lot like other charcoals, meaning its porous surface can grab onto things in your gut. If you swallow your Brexafemme (ibrexafungerp) tablets around the same time, the charcoal may soak up some of the drug before your body can absorb it. That could leave less medicine in your system to fight the yeast infection, so it might not clear up as well or your recurrent infections could keep coming back.
This concern is based on how charcoal behaves, not on a specific study with this drug, so it's more theoretical than proven. Still, it's an easy fix: keep the two at least two hours apart. I'd run your exact timing by your pharmacist or doctor to be safe.

“Ibrexafungerp (Brexafemme) treats vaginal yeast infections, often in a single day of pills, and even that short course can be thrown off by the wrong supplement, so this list warrants real care. Three of the 138 ingredients on file rate major, and they pull in opposite directions.”

Coffee charcoal is made by roasting green coffee beans until they turn black, creating a charcoal-like material used traditionally for diarrhea and digestive complaints.
