Here's the gist for Brexafemme (ibrexafungerp), the antifungal you take for vaginal yeast infections. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help process this medicine. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil can mildly speed up that same enzyme. If CYP3A4 works faster, your body may clear ibrexafungerp a little quicker, which could leave less of it around to fight the infection.

In plain terms, the worry is a weaker antifungal effect, meaning the yeast infection might not clear up as well. That said, this is only a theoretical concern based on how these drugs work, not from real cases, and modafinil is a weak inducer. Ibrexafungerp is usually a short course too. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
