If coffee charcoal binds to your Vyvanse dose, less may get into your system. That could mean weaker results, like more trouble focusing or feeling like your usual dose just isn't working that day.

The good news is this is a theoretical concern based on how charcoal behaves, not strong proof, and the fix is easy: spacing them out by at least two hours usually prevents the problem. Vyvanse is taken once in the morning, so it's often simple to keep them apart. Check the timing with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Lisdexamfetamine treats Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults and children age 6 and older. It is also approved to treat moderate to severe binge eating disorder (BED) in adults.

It is not approved or recommended for weight loss, and its safety and effectiveness for treating obesity have not been established. It is not recommended in children under 6 years old.
