A meta-analysis of clinical studies suggests that chronic use of oral contraceptives increases serum copper levels by a mean of 57 mcg/dL. In most people, this resulted in levels above the normal reference range for copper.

Here's the gist with Nextstellis (drospirenone and estetrol) and copper. The birth control itself isn't the issue. What we see is that being on hormonal contraceptives over time tends to nudge your blood copper levels upward on its own. In studies, long-term use raised copper by an average amount that often pushed people slightly above the normal range. If you then add a copper supplement on top, you could theoretically stack copper higher than your body needs.

I want to be clear that this is a theoretical concern based on how things work, not a proven problem, and it's rated minor. Too much copper can sometimes cause nausea or stomach upset, but most folks getting copper from a normal diet have nothing to worry about. If you're taking a concentrated copper supplement, just check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
