Corzide is a combo blood pressure pill: bendroflumethiazide is a water pill (diuretic) and nadolol is a beta-blocker that slows your heart and relaxes blood vessels. Both already work to bring your blood pressure down. The concern here is that coriander may nudge blood pressure a little lower too, so the two together could, in theory, lower it more than you want.

I want to be honest about how thin this evidence is. It comes from animal studies, not people, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. The amount you'd get cooking with cilantro is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated extracts or coriander oil are a different story. If you notice dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint, check in with your pharmacist or doctor.

Here's the deal with Corzide (which combines bendroflumethiazide, a water pill, and nadolol, a beta blocker). The thiazide part of this combo is already known to make some people's skin more sensitive to sunlight, so they sunburn faster than usual. Coriander may add a little to that effect. Lab research found that one of its compounds, coriandrin, can make skin react more to light. This is a theoretical concern only, and it's based on weak, anecdotal evidence.

The everyday cilantro you cook with is very unlikely to cause any trouble. Concentrated extracts or essential oils are a different story, so check with your pharmacist before using those. Either way, smart sun habits (sunscreen, a hat) are a good idea while on Corzide.
