Here's the gist with bosentan and coriander. Bosentan already works to relax and open up the blood vessels in your lungs, which can also nudge your overall blood pressure down a bit. Animal studies hint that coriander may have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own. So in theory, stacking the two could add up and leave your pressure lower than expected.

I want to be honest though: this is theoretical and based only on animal research, not solid human studies. The amount of cilantro you'd sprinkle on tacos or curry is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated coriander extracts or essential oils are a different story. If you notice dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

What Is Bosentan Used For?

Brand name: Tracleer

Bosentan is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) — high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs. In adults, it helps improve the ability to exercise and slows how quickly the disease gets worse.

In children aged 3 years and older with idiopathic (no known cause) or congenital (present from birth) PAH, bosentan is used to lower resistance in the lung blood vessels, which is expected to improve exercise ability. Tracleer is one brand approved for both adults and pediatric patients with PAH.
