Here's the gist of this one: certain medicines can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, and your combo product (chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine, plus phenylephrine, a decongestant) is grouped with those drugs. Coriander contains a compound called coriandrin that, in lab dishes, has shown a similar sun-sensitizing effect. The theory is that pairing the two could make a sunburn come on faster or feel worse.

I want to be straight with you, though: this is based only on anecdotal reports and test-tube research, not real human studies, so the actual risk is likely small. The coriander you sprinkle on tacos is very unlikely to matter; concentrated extracts or essential oils are the bigger question. To be safe, wear sunscreen and check with your pharmacist if you use coriander supplements.
