Here's the idea behind this one. European mandrake contains tropane alkaloids (like atropine and scopolamine) that slow down how your gut moves. When food and pills sit in your digestive tract longer, your body may have more time to soak up a medication. With sonidegib (Odomzo), that could theoretically mean more of the drug ends up in your bloodstream than expected. Sonidegib is active on its own, so more absorption could mean stronger effects and more side effects, things like muscle spasms, muscle pain, raised muscle enzymes, fatigue, nausea, and taste changes.

Honestly though, this is a theoretical concern based on how these chemicals behave, not on real studies. The bigger issue is that mandrake is genuinely poisonous and should not be taken at all. Please skip the mandrake and talk with your oncologist or pharmacist with any questions.
