Aspirin, Omeprazole falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) INHIBITORS — the group Evodia interacts with.

Theoretically, drugs that inhibit CYP1A2 might increase the levels and clinical effects of evodia.
The evodia constituent rutaecarpine is metabolized by CYP1A2.

Here's the thing to understand about this particular pairing: the concern runs in one direction only. Your Yosprala (aspirin plus omeprazole) can act as a mild blocker of a liver enzyme called CYP1A2, and that same enzyme is what breaks down rutaecarpine, one of the active compounds in evodia. So in theory, the medication could slow evodia's clearance and let its levels climb a bit higher than expected. This isn't about evodia changing how your aspirin or omeprazole work.

I'll be honest, this is based only on lab and animal research, so it's quite theoretical and nothing to lose sleep over. Still, since evodia itself isn't well studied in people, I'd run it by your pharmacist or doctor before adding it, especially given you're taking Yosprala for heart or stroke protection.

Theoretically, evodia might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that evodia extract inhibits hepatic CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with Yosprala (aspirin plus omeprazole) and evodia. The omeprazole half is partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In test-tube studies, evodia appears to slow that enzyme down. If that happened in real life, omeprazole could build up a bit, which mostly means more of its acid-lowering effect rather than anything dangerous.

I want to be straight with you though: this is only lab data, not something seen in actual people, so I'd file it under theoretical. The aspirin part isn't really driven by this pathway. Culinary or small amounts likely won't matter, but concentrated supplements are more of a question mark. Since you're taking this for heart and stroke protection, just run the evodia by your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.

Theoretically, taking evodia with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs might increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.

Here's the gist with Yosprala, which pairs aspirin (a blood thinner that keeps platelets from clumping) with omeprazole (to protect your stomach). Evodia contains a compound called rutaecarpine that, in lab and animal studies, also seems to slow platelets down. So in theory, stacking it on top of your aspirin could push your bleeding risk a little higher than aspirin alone.

What might that look like? Easier bruising, nosebleeds, gums that bleed when you brush, or cuts that take longer to stop. To be fair, this is theoretical and only based on test-tube and animal work, not human studies, so I wouldn't panic. Still, since you're already on a daily antiplatelet, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding an evodia supplement.
