Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Evodia interacts with.

Theoretically, evodia might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that evodia extract inhibits hepatic CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

The pill you're asking about pairs two medicines: ibuprofen (an anti-inflammatory) and hydrocodone (an opioid pain reliever). The hydrocodone part is the one to watch here. Your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help process it. In test-tube studies, evodia appears to slow that same enzyme down. If that held true in people, less of the hydrocodone would get broken down, so more could build up.

That could mean stronger opioid effects: more drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, nausea, or in larger amounts, slowed breathing. Here's the reassuring part though. This is only lab-based evidence and has not been seen in actual humans, so the real risk is uncertain. Still, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Here's the thing with Evodia and your Ibucodone (a combo pill of ibuprofen and hydrocodone). The ibuprofen half already has a mild blood-thinning effect because it interferes with how your platelets stick together. Evodia contains a compound called rutaecarpine that, in lab and animal studies, also seems to slow platelets down. Stacking the two could, in theory, nudge up your odds of bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach bleeding.

I want to be honest though: this is based on test tube and animal research only, not human studies, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Still, since ibuprofen can irritate the stomach on its own, I'd run it past your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you've ever had ulcers or bleeding issues.
