Ibuprofen, Hydrocodone falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Danshen interacts with.

Theoretically, danshen may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Danshen has been reported to have antithrombotic effects. Animal research also suggests that taking a danshen combination formula with clopidogrel exhibits a synergistic increase in antiplatelet aggregation and prolongation of coagulation time when compared with either taken alone.

Here's the thing about this combo: your Ibucodone contains ibuprofen, an anti-inflammatory pain reliever that already nudges your blood toward bleeding more easily. It does this by blocking platelets (the cells that help you clot) and by being a bit rough on the stomach lining. Danshen has been reported to thin the blood and slow clotting too, so stacking the two could add up.

What that might look like in real life: easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or in a worse case, stomach irritation or a bleeding ulcer (think dark or bloody stools). I'll be honest, this warning rests on weak, mostly anecdotal and animal evidence, so it's a cautious heads-up, not a sure thing. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Danshen might alter the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Preliminary clinical research in healthy males shows that the administration of danshen for 10-14 days induces intestinal CYP3A4 and increases the clearance of midazolam, a CYP3A4 substrate. The maximum concentration of midazolam was decreased by 31% to 67%, and drug levels were decreased by 27% to 80%. However, a single dose of danshen has the opposite effect, increasing maximum concentrations of midazolam by 87%.

This combo pill pairs ibuprofen (a pain and anti-inflammatory drug) with hydrocodone (an opioid). The hydrocodone side is the part that interacts here. Your liver and gut use an enzyme called CYP3A4 to process it. Here's the twist: studies suggest that taking Danshen for a week or two actually speeds that enzyme up, which could clear hydrocodone faster and make it less effective for pain. Oddly, a single dose seems to do the opposite and may briefly boost levels.

The evidence is early and modest, so don't panic. But since hydrocodone affects breathing and alertness, any swing matters. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing these, rather than changing anything on your own.
