Tolterodine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Evodia interacts with.

Theoretically, evodia might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that evodia extract inhibits hepatic CYP3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with Evodia and tolterodine: your body uses a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to help break tolterodine down. Lab studies hint that Evodia may slow this enzyme. If that happened in people, tolterodine could clear more slowly and build up a bit, which might mean stronger antimuscarinic effects, things like dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, dizziness, or a faster heartbeat.

The important part: this is only test-tube evidence, and it hasn't actually been seen in humans, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since both could nudge things in the same direction, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you already notice dry mouth or constipation.

It targets three main symptoms: a sudden, hard-to-control urge to urinate (urgency), urinating too often (frequency), and leaking urine when that urge hits (urge urinary incontinence).
