Fenugreek may also have an additive effect on blood pressure-lowering medications. Studies on animals have shown that fenugreek seed can decrease both systolic and diastolic blood pressure by up to 22% when combined with metoprolol. Therefore, it is essential to monitor your blood pressure regularly if you are taking fenugreek and metoprolol together or any other antihypertensive drugs.

Here's the thing to know about pairing fenugreek with bosentan (Tracleer). Bosentan works by relaxing the blood vessels in your lungs, and it can lower your blood pressure as part of that effect. Fenugreek, when taken in concentrated supplement doses, may gently nudge blood pressure down too. So in theory, taking both could add up and leave your blood pressure a little lower than expected.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this is rated minor and comes mostly from animal studies, not solid human trials. The sprinkle of fenugreek in your cooking is very unlikely to matter. If you take it as a daily supplement, watch for things like dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint when you stand up. About Bosentan

What Is Bosentan Used For?

Brand name: Tracleer

Bosentan treats pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), which is high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs (WHO Group 1). In adults, it helps improve exercise ability and slows clinical worsening.

In children 3 years and older with idiopathic or congenital PAH, it is used to improve pulmonary vascular resistance (the resistance blood meets in the lung vessels). This is expected to improve exercise ability. These uses appear on the Tracleer label and on the bosentan tablet and tablet for oral suspension labels.
