Here's the simple version: both fenugreek and dapagliflozin (Farxiga) can push your blood sugar down. Farxiga lowers sugar by making your kidneys flush extra glucose out in your urine, while fenugreek's soluble fiber may slow how fast carbs get absorbed. Stack them together and the effects can add up, so your blood sugar may drop lower than you expect.

This isn't a dangerous chemical clash, and a sprinkle of fenugreek in cooking is unlikely to matter. The concern is mostly with concentrated supplement doses taken daily. If you notice shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling lightheaded, those can be signs of low blood sugar. Before adding a fenugreek supplement, check with your pharmacist or doctor so your numbers can be watched.

What Is Dapagliflozin Used For?

Brand name: Farxiga

Dapagliflozin is used for several serious conditions. It helps improve blood sugar control in adults and children aged 10 and older with type 2 diabetes (alongside diet and exercise). It also reduces the risk of hospitalization for heart failure in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors.

Farxiga (dapagliflozin) is additionally approved to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death, hospitalization, and urgent visits due to heart failure in adults with heart failure — and to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease, including reducing the risk of kidney failure and cardiovascular death, in adults with chronic kidney disease at risk of getting worse.
