Here's the simple version: fermented milk products like yogurt or kefir may gently nudge your blood pressure down on their own. Since fosinopril (Monopril) is already lowering your blood pressure as an ACE inhibitor, stacking the two could, in theory, push your numbers a little lower than expected.

I want to keep this in perspective, though. This is a theoretical concern based on pharmacology, and the human studies only showed a small dip in the top number (systolic), not the bottom one. For most folks, enjoying fermented milk as a normal food won't cause problems. Just be aware of dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint when standing up, especially when you first start. If you notice those, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor rather than changing anything on your own.
