ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS
Why this applies to Rescinnamine
Rescinnamine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Fermented Milk interacts with.
Clinical research shows that drinking fermented milk can decrease systolic, but not diastolic, blood pressure in some patients.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: Rescinnamine (Moderil) is a blood pressure medicine, and some studies suggest that drinking fermented milk can gently lower the top number (systolic) of your blood pressure. So if you pair the two, there's a chance they could add together and push your blood pressure a little lower than expected.
If that happens, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, tired, or woozy when you stand up quickly. To be fair, this concern is mostly theoretical and the blood pressure drop from fermented milk tends to be small, so a normal serving of yogurt or kefir is unlikely to cause trouble for most people. Still, if you use larger concentrated amounts or already run low, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before making changes.

By severity: 4 major · 111 moderate · 21 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Rescinnamine page
“American hellebore is the entry I would flag first for anyone taking rescinnamine (Moderil). Even small amounts of the herb drop blood pressure sharply and can slow the heart, and rescinnamine is already working to bring pressure down.”

Rescinnamine Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Rescinnamine as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Fermented Milk — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
