Bumetanide, Potassium falls under DIURETIC DRUGS — the group Figwort interacts with.

Theoretically, overuse of figwort might compound diuretic-induced potassium loss. There is some concern that people taking figwort along with potassium depleting diuretics might have an increased risk for hypokalemia. Initiation of potassium supplementation or an increase in potassium supplement dose may be necessary for some patients. Some diuretics that can deplete potassium include chlorothiazide (Diuril), chlorthalidone (Thalitone), furosemide (Lasix), hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ, Hydrodiuril, Microzide), and others.

Here's the gist for your Burinex K, which pairs bumetanide (a strong loop water pill) with added potassium. Bumetanide already pushes your body to lose potassium through the urine, which is exactly why the potassium is built into this product in the first place. The concern with figwort is that, in theory, it may have a mild diuretic-like effect of its own, so stacking it on top could nudge your potassium even lower.

Honestly, this one is theoretical, based on how the plant might behave rather than real patient studies. Still, low potassium can cause muscle cramps, weakness, fatigue, or an irregular heartbeat, so it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding figwort. Please don't change your dose on your own.
