Here's the thinking with Rituximab (Rituxan): this is a powerful infusion that quiets down or wipes out certain immune cells, whether you're using it for lymphoma, leukemia, or rheumatoid arthritis. It works by calming part of your immune system. Fulvic acid, on the other hand, has shown in animal and lab studies that it may rev the immune system up a bit. So the concern is that it could theoretically push against what rituximab is trying to do, making the treatment a little less effective.

I'll be honest: this is a theoretical worry, not something proven in people, so I wouldn't panic. But since rituximab is serious therapy, I'd skip new supplements like this and run it by your oncologist, rheumatologist, or pharmacist first.

What Is Rituximab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Rituxan

Rituximab is used to treat a range of blood cancers and immune-driven diseases. In cancer care, it targets certain types of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) — both in adults and, for some lymphomas, in children as young as 6 months old.

Beyond cancer, rituximab is also approved for moderately-to-severely active Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in adults who haven't responded well to other treatments, as well as for two rare inflammatory blood vessel diseases — Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA) and Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA) — and for a serious skin blistering condition called Pemphigus Vulgaris (PV).
