Desiccated thyroid extract (like Westhroid or WP Thyroid) gives your body a steady supply of thyroid hormones, both T4 and T3, to replace what your gland isn't making. The concern here is mostly theoretical. In animal studies, fulvic acid nudged TSH up and shifted the balance of thyroid hormones, which could mean your replacement dose doesn't keep things as steady as it should.

If that happened in real life, you might notice symptoms creeping back, things like fatigue, feeling cold, weight changes, or a slower heartbeat. Keep in mind this is based only on lab and animal work, not solid human studies, so the real risk is unclear. Please don't stop either one on your own. If you want to try fulvic acid, talk with your pharmacist or doctor first, and they can recheck your TSH to be sure your levels stay on track.
