IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Tildrakizumab-Asmn
Tildrakizumab-Asmn falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Fulvic Acid interacts with.
Animal research shows that fulvic acid stimulates immune function.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thinking on combining fulvic acid with Ilumya (tildrakizumab). Ilumya is an injectable antibody that calms down an overactive part of your immune system to clear up those thick, scaly psoriasis plaques. The concern is that fulvic acid may do the opposite, in animal studies it seemed to rev up immune activity. If that happened in people, it could theoretically work against your medication and let your psoriasis flare back up.
I want to be honest though, this is purely theoretical and based on animal and lab data, not real human cases. There's no proof it actually weakens Ilumya in people. Still, since you're paying good money for a treatment that's helping, it's worth a quick chat with your dermatologist or pharmacist before adding fulvic acid. Don't stop anything on your own.
