Nitrazepam falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Griffonia Simplicifolia interacts with.

Theoretically, taking Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract with CNS depressants might increase the risk of additive CNS depression.
Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract contains 5-HTP. In clinical trials, 5-HTP has been associated with drowsiness and somnolence.

Nitrazepam is a benzodiazepine sleeping pill, so it already works by calming your brain and making you sleepy. Griffonia seed extract supplies 5-HTP, which can cause its own drowsiness in some people. Put the two together and the sedation can simply stack up, leaving you groggier than expected.

Realistically that might mean stronger next-morning drowsiness, dizziness, poor coordination, or feeling foggy and slow. Be cautious with driving or anything that needs alertness. I'll be honest though: this concern is theoretical, based on how both act, not on solid studies of the pair. It doesn't mean it will happen, just something to watch. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
