Here's the thing to keep in mind: Vortioxetine (Trintellix) already raises serotonin in your brain to help with depression. Griffonia seeds are a natural source of 5-HTP, which your body turns into even more serotonin. So when you stack the two, you're essentially pushing serotonin in the same direction twice, and that can be too much of a good thing.

When serotonin gets too high, you can run into what's called serotonin syndrome, with symptoms like agitation, a racing heart, shivering, sweating, tremor, or muscle twitching. To be fair, this concern is theoretical and based on how these two work rather than lots of real-world reports, so I don't want to scare you. Still, it's a real-enough overlap that I'd ask you to check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
