Dolutegravir, Rilpivirine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Higenamine interacts with.

Theoretically, higenamine might increase the levels and clinical effects drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that higenamine inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes by 21%. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist: one part of your HIV combo pill Juluca, the rilpivirine, is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies suggest higenamine may slow that enzyme down a little (about 21% in a test tube). In theory, that could let rilpivirine build up slightly, which might mean more of its side effects like headache, trouble sleeping, dizziness, or mood changes.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. This comes only from lab work, not from real people, so it's a theoretical concern. My bigger worry with higenamine itself is its stimulant effect on your heart and blood pressure. Please run any pre-workout or weight-loss supplement past your pharmacist or doctor before mixing it with Juluca.
