Renal function returned to normal after a couple of days; however, severe muscle pain improved only after 3 months.”

    “Orally, the safety of higenamine has not been studied in high-quality clinical trials. However, higenamine has been shown to have cardiac stimulant effects due to its effect on beta2-adrenoreceptors. In animal models, it appears to significantly increase heart rate; however, it does not appear to increase blood pressure. Higenamine is one of the primary cardioactive constituents in aconite.”

Higenamine is a plant-based stimulant compound added to many weight-loss and pre-workout supplements, but there is very little human evidence that it works and real concerns about heart and blood pressure effects. About Felbamate

What Is Felbamate Used For?

Brand name: Felbatol

Felbamate is not a first-line seizure medication. It is used only when a person's epilepsy has not responded well enough to other treatments and the seizures are severe enough that the serious risks of this drug are considered acceptable.

In adults, felbamate can be used alone or alongside other antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) to treat partial seizures (seizures that start in one part of the brain), with or without spreading to become a full seizure. In children, felbamate is used as an add-on treatment for both partial and generalized seizures linked to Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a severe form of childhood epilepsy. Felbatol is specifically labeled for these uses in both adults and children.
