Each serving of HumanN SuperBeets includes 150mg of grape seed extract (2 chews). Laboratory studies suggest that grape seed extract might have inhibitory effects on the CYP3A4 metabolizing enzyme. If this enzyme is inhibited, drugs metabolized by it may undergo slower metabolism, potentially leading to (in many cases) higher-than-normal drug levels. Elevated drug levels can increase the risk of experiencing side effects. However, it's important to point out that there is no documented or reported instance of this specific interaction occurring in human studies.

Here's the gist for toremifene (Fareston). Your body clears this medicine using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. The grape seed extract in SuperBeets Heart Chews (about 150mg per two chews) has shown some ability to slow that enzyme down, but only in lab dish studies, not in real people. If it did slow it even a little, toremifene could build up slightly, which in theory might nudge up side effects like hot flashes, nausea, sweating, or dizziness.

I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical, minor concern with weak evidence, and there are no reported real-world cases. Toremifene is not a prodrug, so it still works normally. Since it's a cancer therapy, just mention the chews to your oncologist or pharmacist so everyone's on the same page.
