Each serving of HumanN SuperBeets includes 150mg of grape seed extract (2 chews). Laboratory studies suggest that grape seed extract might have inhibitory effects on the CYP2D6 metabolizing enzyme. Here's the gist for nortriptyline: your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP2D6 to break it down and clear it out. The grape seed extract in these chews (about 150mg per two chews) has shown some ability to slow that enzyme down, at least in lab dish studies. In theory, slower clearance could let nortriptyline build up a bit, which might mean more of its usual side effects like dry mouth, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness when standing, or a faster heartbeat.

That said, I want to keep this in perspective. This is graded as a minor and unlikely interaction, and it has never actually been reported in a real person. Nortriptyline does have a fairly narrow safe range, so it's still worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding the chews.
