Here's the short version on pairing Indian long pepper with piroxicam (Feldene). Piroxicam is an NSAID, and like other drugs in that family, it can make your blood a little slower to clot and can irritate the stomach lining. Lab studies suggest Indian long pepper may also nudge platelets toward not sticking together as well. Put the two side by side and, in theory, you could see a bit more bruising, nosebleeds, or stomach upset.

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. It comes only from test-tube research, not from people, so for most folks a little spice in cooking won't be the issue. Concentrated pippali supplements taken daily are where I'd pause. If you use it regularly, just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up.
