Theoretically, indigo pulchra might lower blood glucose levels and might have additive effects when used with antidiabetes drugs. This might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in some patients. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, metformin (Glucophage), pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the honest situation: Toujeo (insulin glargine) is a long-acting insulin that steadily lowers your blood sugar all day. The concern on file is that Indigo Pulchra might also nudge blood sugar down on its own. If both push in the same direction, your sugar could drop too low (hypoglycemia), which can cause shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling faint.

That said, this is only a theoretical worry based on lab or animal data, not on real patient results. On top of that, we honestly can't confirm what Indigo Pulchra even is, so I'd be cautious. Please don't change your insulin dose. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor first, and if you do try it, check your blood sugar more often.
