Theoretically, isopropylnorsynephrine might decrease the effects of antihypertensive drugs.
In vitro research shows that isopropylnorsynephrine is a highly selective, direct-acting beta-adrenergic receptor agonist with positive chronotropic effects, and hypertension has been reported in patients taking combination products containing isopropylnorsynephrine and other stimulants.

Here's the basic idea. Iloprost (Ventavis) is a vasodilator you inhale to relax the blood vessels in your lungs and ease the strain of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Isopropylnorsynephrine is a stimulant that does the opposite in some ways. It can stimulate beta-adrenergic receptors, nudging your heart rate up and potentially raising blood pressure. So in theory it could work against what iloprost is trying to do and blunt some of its benefit.

I'll be honest with you, this is mostly based on lab research, not solid human studies, so the real-world risk isn't well proven. Still, an unproven stimulant paired with a serious lung condition is a combination I'd want you to clear with your doctor or pharmacist first. Watch for more shortness of breath, dizziness, or a racing heart, and don't change your iloprost on your own.
