Here's the simple version: both khella and your water pill can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Bendroflumethiazide, like other thiazide-type diuretics, is well known for causing sun sensitivity, meaning you may burn faster or break out in a rash after time outdoors. Khella contains compounds (khellin and visnagin) that can do the same thing. Stack them together and you could be more prone to sunburn or a skin reaction.

I want to be honest about the strength of this one. It's largely theoretical and based on anecdotal reports, not solid studies, so it's not a reason to panic. Practical step: if you do use khella, be smart about sunscreen, hats, and shade, and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
