Here's the thing about pairing khella with clomipramine: this isn't about how your body breaks the drug down. Both khella and clomipramine can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Stack them together and you may sunburn faster than usual, even on a cloudy day or after a short time outdoors.

I'll be honest, this one is mostly theoretical and based on weak, anecdotal reports, so don't panic. It's not a dangerous drug-level interaction. If you do use both, simple sun smarts go a long way: sunscreen, a hat, and covering up outside. If you notice unusual redness or burning, loop in your pharmacist or doctor before making any changes.

Clomipramine — sold as Anafranil and under the generic name Clomipramine Hydrochloride — is approved to treat obsessions and compulsions in people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This includes adults and children/adolescents ages 10 to 17.

To qualify for treatment, the obsessions or compulsions must cause significant distress, take up a lot of time, or noticeably interfere with work, school, or social life.
