Amoxapine falls under SEROTONERGIC DRUGS — the group Kratom interacts with.

Theoretically, taking kratom in combination with serotonergic drugs may increase levels of serotonin, increasing the risk of serotonin syndrome.
A 63-year-old male presented with possible serotonin syndrome after taking an unknown dose of kratom for up to 3 months along with serotonergic prescription medications bupropion, buspirone, desvenlafaxine, trazodone, and ziprasidone. It was hypothesized that kratom inhibited the cytochrome P450 3A4-, 2C9-, 2D6-, and 1A2-mediated metabolism of several of these serotonergic medications, consequently increasing systemic exposure to serotonin.

Here's the concern with mixing kratom and amoxapine. Amoxapine is a tricyclic antidepressant that raises serotonin in your brain. Kratom acts on opioid receptors and can also nudge serotonin levels, so putting the two together may stack that effect and raise the risk of serotonin syndrome. That can look like agitation, sweating, a racing heart, shivering, muscle twitching, or confusion.

There's a second worry too. Kratom may slow some of the liver enzymes that clear amoxapine, which could let more of the drug build up and bring on side effects like drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, or heart rhythm changes. To be fair, this is largely theoretical and based on a single case report, so the evidence is weak. Still, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
