Moclobemide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C19 (CYP2C19) SUBSTRATES — the group Kratom interacts with.

Theoretically, kratom might increase the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C19.
In vitro research shows that kratom extract weakly inhibits CYP2C19 enzyme activity.

Here's the gist for moclobemide (Manerix), an antidepressant in the MAOI family. Your body partly clears it using a liver enzyme called CYP2C19. Lab (test-tube) studies suggest kratom may weakly slow that enzyme down. In theory, that could let moclobemide build up a little, which might mean stronger effects or more side effects like dizziness, trouble sleeping, headache, or nausea.

I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical, minor concern based only on lab data, not real patient reports. The bigger worry is a different one. Moclobemide is an MAOI, and combining it with kratom's opioid-like activity can raise the risk of serious reactions. Please don't pair these without checking with your doctor or pharmacist first.
