The combo pill you're asking about pairs chlorthalidone (a water pill) with clonidine (a blood pressure medicine). The piece that matters here is the chlorthalidone. Like other diuretics, it makes you lose potassium through your urine. Manna works as a gentle laxative because the mannitol in it pulls water into your gut, and if you use a lot of it or run loose stools, you can lose extra potassium and fluid that way too.

Put those together and, in theory, your potassium could dip lower than expected. Low potassium can cause muscle cramps, weakness, tiredness, or an irregular heartbeat. Keep in mind this is a theoretical concern based on how these work, not strong study data, and occasional light use is unlikely to be a problem. Still, check with your pharmacist or doctor before using manna regularly.
