Methylsynephrine has cardiac stimulant effects. Theoretically, taking methylsynephrine with other stimulant drugs might increase the risk of hypertension and adverse cardiovascular effects.
Some stimulant drugs include amphetamine, caffeine, diethylpropion (Tenuate), methylphenidate, phentermine (Ionamin), pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, others), and many others.

Here's the thing to know about pairing methylsynephrine with ambenonium (Mytelase). Ambenonium is a cholinesterase inhibitor used to treat myasthenia gravis. It boosts a chemical called acetylcholine, which can actually slow the heart and cause cramping, drooling, and other 'rest and digest' type effects. Methylsynephrine pulls in the opposite direction, acting like adrenaline to speed the heart up and push blood pressure higher.

The concern on file is mostly about methylsynephrine's own stimulant strain on your heart and blood pressure. Layering a stimulant on top of any medication situation, especially when your nervous system is already being pushed around, could mean palpitations, a racing pulse, or spikes in blood pressure. This is theoretical and based on how the drugs work, not strong studies. Honestly, methylsynephrine isn't a legal or proven supplement here, so it's best avoided.
