Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
BETA-ADRENERGIC AGONISTS
Why this applies to Olodaterol Hydrochloride
Olodaterol Hydrochloride falls under BETA-ADRENERGIC AGONISTS — the group Methylsynephrine interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: your inhaler, olodaterol (Striverdi Respimat), is a long-acting beta-agonist that relaxes the airways so you can breathe easier. Methylsynephrine is a stimulant that acts a lot like adrenaline and pushes on those same receptors. Stack the two together and you're essentially doubling up on stimulation of the heart and blood vessels.
That can mean a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, a bump in blood pressure, and possibly an uneven rhythm. To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how the drugs work, not hard clinical data, and it would matter most with large stimulant doses. Still, methylsynephrine isn't an approved or safe supplement to begin with, so I'd steer clear and check with your doctor or pharmacist.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Olodaterol Hydrochloride page
“Olodaterol (Striverdi Respimat) is a long-acting inhaled bronchodilator for COPD, and because it stimulates beta receptors in the heart as well as the lungs, its supplement list deserves more than a quick skim. Seven of the 147 interacting ingredients are rated major, and most of those, ephedra among them, can prolong the QT interval,…”

About Methylsynephrine
What is Methylsynephrine?
- Weight loss and fat burning
- Boosting energy
- Athletic and workout performance
- Appetite control
Methylsynephrine (also called oxilofrine) is a synthetic stimulant sometimes added to weight-loss and pre-workout products, but it is not a legal or approved dietary ingredient in the United States. It has been linked to serious heart and blood pressure problems, and there is no good evidence it is safe or effective for these uses, so it is best avoided.
