Methylsynephrine has cardiac stimulant effects. Theoretically, taking methylsynephrine with other stimulant drugs might increase the risk of hypertension and adverse cardiovascular effects.
Some stimulant drugs include amphetamine, caffeine, diethylpropion (Tenuate), methylphenidate, phentermine (Ionamin), pseudoephedrine (Sudafed, others), and many others.

Here's the simple version: amphetamine (like Dyanavel XR or Mydayis) is already a strong stimulant. It revs up your heart rate, raises blood pressure, and pushes your body into that wired, alert state. Methylsynephrine works in a very similar way, acting like adrenaline on your heart and blood vessels. So you're not changing how the body breaks the drug down here, you're simply stacking two stimulants on top of each other.

When you add them together, the worry is too much of the same effect: a racing or pounding heartbeat, spikes in blood pressure, jitteriness, chest discomfort, or trouble sleeping. This concern is based on how these drugs work rather than on solid human studies, so think of it as a sensible caution, not a proven danger. Still, methylsynephrine isn't an approved supplement and is best avoided. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.

What Is Amphetamine Used For?

Brand names: Dyanavel XR, Adensys XR-ODT, Mydayis, Adzenys ER

Amphetamine treats Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in patients 6 years and older. Adzenys XR-ODT, Dyanavel XR, and the amphetamine extended-release orally disintegrating tablet formulations are specifically approved for ADHD in this age group.

Amphetamine Sulfate tablets and Evekeo (amphetamine sulfate tablets) are also approved for narcolepsy (a sleep disorder causing uncontrollable daytime sleepiness) and as a short-term aid in a calorie-restricted weight-loss program for exogenous obesity (weight gain from external factors like overeating) in patients who have not responded to other approaches.
