Insulin (Pork) falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Picrorhiza interacts with.

Evidence from animal research suggests that an extract of picrorhiza can reduce fasting and non-fasting blood sugar levels. Theoretically, picrorhiza might have additive effects with antidiabetes drugs and increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Here's the simple version: animal studies hint that Picrorhiza may lower blood sugar on its own. Since pork insulin is already doing that job, stacking the two together could, in theory, push your glucose down further than you intended. That could show up as the usual low-sugar warning signs, things like shakiness, sweating, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling lightheaded.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. The evidence here is early lab and animal work, not solid human studies, so it's a possible concern rather than a proven one. If you want to try Picrorhiza, the safest move is to check your blood sugar a bit more closely and let your pharmacist or doctor know first, since your insulin dose may need a small tweak.
