Dutasteride, Tamsulosin falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Polypodium Leucotomos interacts with.

Theoretically, Polypodium leucotomos might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro and animal research suggests that Polypodium leucotomos can decrease the metabolism of midazolam by a mechanism possibly related to the inhibition of CYP3A4. However, a small study in humans suggests that taking Polypodium leucotomos with midazolam does not affect the metabolism of midazolam.

Here's the quick version: both ingredients in Jalyn, the dutasteride and the tamsulosin, are partly broken down by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In a test tube and in animals, polypodium leucotomos looked like it might slow that enzyme down a little, which in theory could let these drugs build up slightly. If that happened, the most likely thing you'd notice would come from the tamsulosin side, things like dizziness, lightheadedness when standing up, or a stuffy nose.

But honestly, I wouldn't lose sleep over this one. The evidence is weak and mostly theoretical, and when researchers actually tested the fern in real people with a similar drug, it didn't change anything. Still, since this fern is best used with sunscreen anyway, it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist before you start.
