ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Danaparoid
Danaparoid falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Red Raspberry interacts with.
In vitro research suggests that red raspberry leaf extract has antiplatelet activity and enhances the in vitro effects of the antiplatelet medication cangrelor. This interaction has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Danaparoid (Orgaran) is a blood thinner doctors use to prevent or treat dangerous clots, often in people who can't take heparin. Its whole job is to slow down clotting, so anything else that nudges your blood in that same direction is worth a second look.
Here's the honest picture: in lab (test tube) studies, red raspberry leaf showed some mild blood-thinning activity. That's a long way from proof in real people, and this combination has not actually been reported as a problem in humans. Still, pairing two things that both discourage clotting could, in theory, raise your bleeding risk. Watch for easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that won't stop. An occasional cup of tea is unlikely to matter much, but before using concentrated raspberry supplements, please check with your pharmacist or doctor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Danaparoid page
“Danshen, a Chinese herb sold for heart and circulation, is where I would start with danaparoid (Orgaran), an injectable blood thinner used to prevent and treat dangerous clots. Nearly everything here, 202 of the 218 ingredients on file, carries some blood-thinning or antiplatelet activity of its own, and stacking that on top of an anti…”

Danaparoid Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Danaparoid as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Red Raspberry — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
